Cap Coder Heads to UK Packaging Expo: Live Machine Demos

Filling Machine Quotes: What Information Suppliers Need

Meet Cap Coder at UK Packaging Expo 2026

Join us at UK Packaging Expo, Exhibition Centre Liverpool, on 10-11 November 2026. You’ll find us on Stand D28, Hall C, where we will be demonstrations some of our bottling machines.

Your free entry link is at the end of this post.

See Our Machines Running Live at UK Packaging Expo

Brochures and spec sheets tell you what a machine can do. Seeing it fill, cap and label in front of you shows you how it does it. That’s why we’re bringing working machines to Liverpool, so you can watch them run, ask questions and see the build quality up close. You’ll also see two of our most popular machines demonstrated up close:

  • The CC570 semi-automatic inline capper, designed to fit into an existing line without turning your production floor upside down.
  • The Micro Mono, our compact bench-top monobloc that proves big capability doesn’t need a big footprint.

Bring your containers, your closures and your trickiest questions. The machines can take it!

Meet Paul and Ross

Paul Altherton, our General Manager, and Ross Prior, our Managing Director, will be running the demonstrations across both days. They’re engineers, which means they know these machines inside out. They also speak human!

It’s not every day you can put your questions straight to the people who run the company, so make the most of it. Whether you’re weighing up your first automatic line, chasing better torque consistency, or trying to squeeze more throughput out of the line you already have, they’re the people to talk to.

Top Secret: New Product Advancements

We have some exciting new product advancements on the way. How exciting? So top secret that we can’t put them in this article, on our website or anywhere else just yet.

The only way to find out right now is to visit Stand D28 and ask Paul and Ross in person. No passwords required, although a firm handshake and a good question won’t hurt. Consider this your invitation to the inside track.

Safety Built-In, Not Bolted On

Some machines treat safety like a hat: something added at the end so they look the part. Ours don’t. Safety is decided at the drawing board, and you’ll see the results on the stand.

Guarding is engineered into the frame rather than fitted around it, and it’s made from clear polycarbonate, so operators can watch filling and capping in progress without opening a guard. Control comes from proven Schneider PLCs, HMIs and servo drives, with SMC pneumatics. The Micro Mono’s indexing starwheel adds a mechanical clutch behind the electronics, so there are two independent layers of protection. And the CC570’s safety equipment can be integrated with the systems already on your line, so the whole line stays safe, not just the new arrival.

Ask Paul and Ross to show you where the safety is hiding. It’s everywhere, which is rather the point. For the full story, read Safety Built In.

Why Torque Matters

A cap applied at the wrong torque is a product failure waiting to happen, whether it leaks, cross-threads or refuses to open. Our torque transducer gives calibrated torque readings, so seal integrity is measured rather than assumed. Come and watch it at work, then ask Paul and Ross how it fits into your quality records.

Safety Built-in

Safety cannot be sprinkled on at the end of the build. It is decided at the drawing board, in the choice of frame, guarding, components and control architecture, and in the decision to design a hazard out rather than guard against it.

For over 50 years, Cap Coder has designed and built filling, capping and labelling machinery in Oxfordshire for manufacturers who cannot compromise on protection for their people, their products or their compliance records. Safety Built-In is how that expertise is applied.
