Our CC1160 automatic filling and capping machine, is designed to your product requirements. With this machines form factor and advanced electronics, multiple complex stations are possible, such as AI driven machine vision systems for level checking.
This machine is also perfect for complex products, such as pharmaceutical or life science products which often have multiple components in their assembly.
An example of this would be a life science product with a vial, plug and cap. The empty container would be automatically fed into the machine, sterilised via UV light, filled via a highly accurate peristaltic pump, the level checked with a confocal vision sensor, the plug would then be inserted and validated and finally the cap would be placed onto the vial and torqued down via our capping head whilst measuring the torque via a torques transduce. All data would be available for download and any products not validated at any stage would be rejected into a separate lane.

Layouts & Diagrams
A Typical Multi-station CC1160 Automatic Filling & Capping Layout.
This layout shows a designed built for the life science industry to process testing vials. The vials are bulk loaded onto the bowl feeder which orientates and feeds them into the machine. The CC1160’s next station then fills the vials to incredible accuracy, +/- 50 Micro liters and then checks the fill level using a machine vision system. Caps are also bulk loaded into there own bowl feeder and fed into the machine, where they are place onto the vial and pre-started. The next station twin MKVI Torque heads tighten the caps to a specific torque whilst measuring the applied torque using torque transducers. Cap presence is then verified a final time before vial is dispatched to the labeller, where a label is affixed, coded and then validated with OCR. At all times the machine records the validation status of each vial and if at any stage fails validation it is then marked as failed and distributed onto a reject line and not contaminate the successfully validated products.
