Almac Validated Pharmaceutical Capping with the CC560
When Almac Group commissioned a new clinical trial packaging line for oral solid dose bottling, it needed capping with guaranteed seal integrity, repeatable torque and efficient changeovers between pack formats.
Almac chose two CC560 capping and re-torquing systems, installed in 2022, building on a Cap Coder capper already in service since 2015. The CC560’s starwheel design made changeovers faster and more predictable, and its separate capping and torquing units gave Almac greater control over seal integrity.
Nasaleze Automated Medical Device Production with the CC1160
Nasaleze was filling and capping its powder nasal spray by hand, with six staff producing 1,000 bottles a day.
Two CC1160 Monoblocs and a CC1160 Twin Head now feed, UV sterilise, fill, plug and cap each bottle automatically, with vision checks, torque monitoring and automatic rejection of any non-compliant unit. Output has risen to over 30,000 bottles a day, enough for Nasaleze to supply new international markets.
Herb UK Replacing an Inline Liquid Filler with the CC570
Herb UK’s previous filler gave inconsistent fill volumes, struggled with thicker conditioners and hair dyes, and needed lengthy manual changeovers.
A CC570 inline filler with twin servo-driven gear pumps was fitted over the existing conveyor and running within days. Fills are now consistent across the full range, product waste has fallen, and stored HMI recipes have cut changeovers from a lengthy manual job to minutes.
